Honolulu International Airport - HNL

Airports. I love going there when I'm the one leaving. Whenever I drop off someone at the airport I feel a jealous urge... I want to be the one to leave!

HNL has a Japanese garden in the middle of the airport. I thought it was quite fitting that I was going to Japan at the time.

I took JAL during my first trip to Japan in 2005. I experienced the best service of any airline bar-none! (even though I was in coach).

Travel is one of my passions and I have been to: Japan , Philippines and Australia (all twice) not to mention all over the mainland including Mexico and Canada. That said, I'm still an ameteur compared to world-class travelers.

How about you? If you could jump on a plane and go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Well, now. That is a baited question. Where else would I want to go but Hawaii? I have done a lot of traveling but I have never been to Hawaii.

That park looks so beautiful.

Hey Patty, you need to make it to Hawaii someday. There are some great deals to go to Hawaii these days - (The Hawaii Tourism Authority paid me to say that :) As for me, I enjoy going to Japan but have never been to Europe.

The first time I landed on the Honolulu airport I saw a house in the middle of the airport. I thought there are some more houses inside the airport and I thought that was pretty cool huh. My dream before was to go to Japan and Hawaii and fortunately I was able to go experience those and now still in Japan but now I want to go to Europe! How I wish our next station is anywhere in Europe....I wish, hahaha.....still I miss Hawaii!! You're still lucky!

When you do leave Hawaii will you change your blog name to Lucky We Leave Hawaii? Just a thought. I am always, like you, ready to get on an airplane. If I could have one wish in life it would be to see everything that God has created on this earth. Each place has its own unique quality. I have to say, though, that I am verrry fond of Alaska.(in the summertime) Thanks for sharing. Gordon
