Nestled next to Kakaako Park and close to the UH Medical School you will find the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center. The building was built on the site of the old City Incinerator. You will notice the remnant smokestack in the background. The building contains interactive learning environments for children of all ages. Man, where was stuff like this when I grew up?
